Back to Stitching started out of a love for fixing things instead of tossing them aside. Jeff Barber, our founder, spent years as a handy person and was always the one maintaining his wife's sewing machines when others said to buy new.
When Jeff's career changed paths and he saw friends waiting way too long for even basic cleaning, he set out to become a certified sewing machine tech through the Sewing Doc Academy. His big goal is to help future generations keep using the classic machines handed down by family - saving money and reducing waste.
Now, Back to Stitching brings careful, caring repairs and tune-ups right to homes and clubs across Vancouver, making sure no one loses time wrestling with shop drop-offs or slow turnarounds. The business is a proud part of the local scene, built on a foundation of neighborly spirit and real skill.
